Great minds discuss ideas,
average minds discuss events,
small minds discuss people.
Mom collected her “Grand Award for Community Service” at a ceremony today. She’s been serving as a Grassroots Leader for 25 years!!
And I’m only 19 years old, imagine that.
She’s been serving the community for literally all my life, plus six more years!
Kudos to her.
I hope I’ll be able to keep at it for as long as she has. =)
Save the Earth! We’re having this series of ‘Go Green’ events right not.
Simply bring down your recyclables to exchange for essential items. (Food!)
Or just come down to show support for the green movement on 20th december 2009.
We’re planning something special!
Remember, we can make a difference! =DD
Jesus take the wheel,
Take it from my hands,
Cause I can’t do this on my own.
I’m letting go,
So give me one more chance,
Save me from this road I’m on.
Jesus, take the wheel.
This is something Mich drew the other day.
She says it’s supposed to be Chibi, which explains why we are all so small.
There you have it: Chibi-Gene, Chibi-Mich and Chibi-Jamie. 0.0
What a gifted artist I’d say.
Happy Birthday Mich!
Clay Aiken- I want to know what love is
This track is titled “I want to know what love is”. It was first recorded by rock band “Foreigner” in the 80s and made it to number one on the billboard charts in both the U.S and UK charts. Since then, many artistes have done covers of this song, including Diana Ross and Mariah Carey. I stumbled upon Clay Aiken’s version today, which I found wonderful. So I thought I’d share it with some of you guys here.
I want to know what love is.
I finally went back to school today.
Thanks for the concern, everyone.
I’m better already. Not vomiting anymore at least.
Lots to catch up with though.
I’ve got some exciting plans ahead as well.
In every community there is work to be done.
In every nation there are wounds to heal.
In every heart there is the power to do it.
Look what I found while tidying up! That’s my mom on the cover of cohesion magazine! (holding up the sign) hahaha!
Patti LaBelle- Walking Away

I love Patti LaBelle. But then again, most people ought to know that already.
I’d go as far to call her one of the greatest singers of all time. In terms of raw vocal power, she is unmatched, Seriously.
This song’s from her album “The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle”. You guys, please get it if you can. All proceeds go to cancer research. =)
She’s already over 60 in this recording, but her vocals are still fabulous.
Today I puked four times! Whatever I ate, just couldn’t stay inside.
But hey, look on the bright side, zero calories. =)
Okay. just trying to be optimistic here.
Thank you mom, for coming home early and taking me to the doctor. =)
